A Timber Harvest Plan is being prepared in Humboldt County.

PUBLIC NOTICE A Timber Harvest Plan (THP) is being prepared in Humboldt County; the proposed THP, is approximately 2.5 air miles southeast of Fruitland and 2.3 air miles west of Oak Glen. The legal description of this project is portions of Section 13 & 24; T2S, R3E; Humboldt Base and Meridian, Humboldt County. The THP is located on the Myers Flat USGS 7.5' topographic quadrangle. The majority of the THP drains to Sonoma Creek a tributary to the Eel River. It is also drained by several unnamed tributaries of Sonoma Creek. A small portion of the THP drains to unnamed tributaries of Elk Creek. Elk Creek is a tributary to the South Fork Eel River. The South Fork Eel River and Sonoma Creek are tributaries to the Eel River. The Eel River drains to the Pacific Ocean.
