California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation Invites Qualified Firms to Submit Statements of Qualifications for PROFESSIONAL ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES STATEWIDE RFQ No. PMB202604 Eprocurement Event ID# 0000038347 The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) intends to contract with a firm for professional environmental services. CDCR is requesting "Statements of Qualifications" from firms interested in providing professional environmental services. Under the terms of the Agreement, the selected Consultant shall perform a wide range of environmental studies, regulatory permitting, and technical advice on proposed modifications to existing correctional facilities statewide. The Consultant shall provide professional environmental services necessary to prepare the appropriate environmental document(s) for a given undertaking including, but not limited, to repair/modification of existing correctional facilities, new or expanded facilities, regulatory compliance, and repair/construction of infrastructure necessary for facility operations. When necessary, the Consultant shall also assist CDCR in securing permit compliance from all applicable regulatory agencies for the potential undertakings. The Consultant's responsibilities shall ensure that all environmental documentation is prepared in a manner that meets all state and federal environmental statutory and regulatory requirements. The Consultant shall provide related support documentation for the environmental review process, assist in the preparation and implementation of electrified fence mitigation monitoring and reporting plans, and required project approval documentation including public notices. The Consultant shall also provide other professional environmental services associated with site review and selection, environmental due diligence of expansion and/or acquisition sites, and the overall environmental review process for a given undertaking. A notice to proceed for professional environmental services is subject to budgetary, legislative and control agency approval of the proposed projects. CDCR strongly encourages Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise and Small Business participation. A pre-proposal conference WILL NOT be conducted.
