CALIFORNIA REGIONAL WATER QUALITY CONTROL BOARD 320 W. 4th Street, Suite 200 Public Notice No. 26-004 Los Angeles, CA 90013 Meeting: May 28, 2026 (213) 576-6600 NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND BOARD MEETING 9:00 A.M., Thursday, May 28, 2026 Proposed Basin Plan Amendment to Incorporate a Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) for Indicator Bacteria in Dominguez Channel and Estuary NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the California Regional Water Quality Control Board, Los Angeles Region (Los Angeles Water Board) will hold a public hearing on the Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) for Indicator Bacteria in Dominguez Channel and Estuary. On May 28, 2026, the Los Angeles Water Board will take formal action on the tentative resolution to adopt an amendment to the Water Quality Control Plan, Los Angeles Region (Basin Plan) to incorporate the TMDL. The staff report, substitute environmental documents, tentative resolution, and proposed Basin Plan amendment are available on the Los Angeles Board website at: https://www.waterboards.ca.gov/losangeles/water_iss ues/programs/tmdl/bpa_details.php?id=147 Please check the Los Angeles Water Board's website at: https://www.waterboards.ca.gov/losangeles/ for the most up-to-date public hearing date and location as they are subject to change. Any person may present relevant statements or arguments. Oral presentations should be summarized in writing to the extent possible. If necessary, time limitations on presentations may be imposed. Written comments must be received by the Los Angeles Water Board Staff no later than 5:00 p.m. on April 24, 2026. Failure to comply with these requirements is grounds for the Los Angeles Water Board to refuse to admit the proposed written comment or exhibit into evidence (California Code of Regulations, Title 23, Section 649.4). Interested persons are encouraged to submit comments electronically. Send comments by email to RB4-TMDL@waterboards.ca.gov with a copy to kangshi.wang@waterboards.ca.gov.
