COUNTY OF YUBA SUMMARY OF PROPOSED ORDINANCE REPEALING AND RE-ENACTING ARTICLE 5 OF TITLE II OF THE YUBA COUNTY ORDINANCE CODE REGARDING PURCHASE OF REAL PROPERTY The following is a summary of a proposed ordinance repealing and re-enacting Article 5 of Title II of the Yuba County Ordinance Code regarding the purchase of real property proposed to be adopted by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Yuba on April 14, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. or soon thereafter as the matter may be heard. The proposed ordinance pursuant to the authority granted to the Board of Supervisors by Government Code Section 25350.60 would authorize Administrative Services Director, Public Works Director, or designees, to be responsible for coordinating, planning, and negotiations of all real property purchases, and for maintaining records. The ordinance authorizes the Administrative Services Director, Public Works Director, or designees to perform all acts necessary to approve and accept for the County of any real property where the purchase price does not exceed $50,000 and establishes procedures for the Administrative Services Director and Public Works Director.
