A SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE NO. 2153 Pursuant to Government Code Section 25124(b), the following constitutes a summary of Ordinance No. 2153 introduced at the Tehama County Board of Supervisors meeting on May 5, 2026. The Ordinance amends prior authorization related to the administration of the County's Deferred Compensation Plan. The purpose of the Ordinance is to delegate day-to-day administrative authority for the County's 457(b) Deferred Compensation Program to the Treasurer/Tax Collector. The Ordinance dissolves the existing Deferred Compensation Committee, designates the Treasurer/Tax Collector as Plan Administrator, and authorizes that office to develop and maintain administrative rules and procedures consistent with applicable law.
