SUMMARY OF PROPOSED RESTATED
ORDINANCE NO. OVSD-65
ADOPTING POLICIES AND PROCEDURES GOVERNING
PUBLIC PROJECT CONTRACTS, PROFESSIONAL SERVICE CONTRACTS,
THE PURCHASE OF SUPPLIES, EQUIPMENT AND SERVICES, AND THE DISPOSAL OF
SURPLUS PROPERTY
On April 27, 2026, following a duly noticed public hearing, Restated Ordinance No. OVSD-65 was passed, approved, and adopted by the Ojai Valley Sanitary District Board of Directors by a 6-director roll call vote: Directors Ulrich, Quilici, Burg, Martinson, Kentosh, and Reed voting Aye. Director Curtis abstained from voting due to technical difficulties.
Restated Ordinance No. OVSD-65 adopts policies and procedures governing public project contracts, professional service contracts, the purchase of supplies, equipment and services, and the disposal of surplus property.
This Ordinance covers the range of issues which the District faces, with provision for equipment & supplies (including elements addressing purchasing of information technology), Professional Services and Construction projects.
Restated Ordinance No. OVSD-65 shall take effect May 18, 2026.
