ORDINANCE NO. 1749 AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNTY OF SUTTER AMENDING THE SUTTER COUNTY ORDINANCE CODE BY ADDING TO SECTION 1100-100 RELATING TO THE PRIMA FACIE SPEED LIMITS THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF SUTTER ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: The Sutter County Ordinance Code is hereby amended by adding the following line to Chapter 1100 Section 100: STREET NAME: Riviera Road LOCATION LIMITS: Starting at Larkin Road and ending at Metteer SPEED LIMIT: Road 50 MPH ORIGNATION ORDINANCE SECTION 2: If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase, or portion of this ordinance is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or unconstitutional, such portion shall be deemed a separate, distinct and independent provision and the holding shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this ordinance. SECTION 3: This ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days after the date of final passage and, together with the names of the members of the Board of Supervisors voting for and against the ordinance, shall be published in the Appeal Democrat, a newspaper of general circulation, at least once before the expiration of fifteen (15) days from the date of passage. This Ordinance was regularly introduced at a meeting of the Board of Supervisors of the County of Sutter on the 14th day of April 2026, and was PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Board of Supervisors of the County of Sutter, State of California, on this 28th day of April 2026, by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Ziegenmeyer, Bains, and Stephens NOES: None ABSENT: Supervisors Boone and Flores ABSTAIN: None MIKE ZIEGENMEYER, CHAIR BOARD OF SUPERVISORS ATTEST: DONNA M.
