PUBLIC NOTICE – CITY COUNCIL PUBLIC HEARING CITY OF BARSTOW NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Barstow will hold a public hearing to receive public comment and consider approval of a cost allocation related to City services. DATE: Tuesday, May 5, 2026 TIME: 7:00 P.M. PLACE: Barstow City Hall, Council Chambers 220 E. Mountain View Street, Barstow, CA 92311 PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The City Council will consider approval of a cost allocation for City services. The proposed cost allocation identifies and distributes costs associated with providing municipal services and support across applicable funds, programs, or user groups. The purpose of the cost allocation is to ensure that City service costs are appropriately assigned and recovered in a manner consistent with applicable laws, policies, and financial best practices. PUBLIC COMMENT: All interested persons are invited to attend the public hearing and be heard. Written comments may be submitted prior to the hearing to the City Clerk’s Office at 220 E. Mountain View Street, Suite A, Barstow, CA 92311, or via email to Publiccomments@barstowca.org.
