NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CITY COUNCIL CATHEDRAL CITY Wednesday, April 22, 2026 – 5:30 pm Cathedral City Council Chambers 68-700 Avenida Lalo Guerrero Cathedral City, CA 92234 In accordance with the procedures specified by State Law and the Rules of Procedure for Council Meetings and Related Functions and Activities, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Cathedral City to be held the date, time and location as noted above, to confer and discuss: DEVELOPMENT IMPACT FEES The City Council will consider adopting a proposed resolution revising the development impact fees. The current Assembly Bill (AB) 1600 Development Impact Fee schedule was implemented January 1, 2024. Built into the schedule is an automatic Fee Adjustment using the Construction Cost index (CCI) for the 20-City Average as reported by Engineering News Record (ENR) for a twelve-month period or a similar published index if the CCI is no longer available. The latest proposed development impact fee schedule for the ENR CCI year-over-year index update will be reviewed and, if approved, will be implemented July 1, 2026. Supporting documentation is currently available to the public and may be requested from the City Clerk. At the Public Meeting, City staff will present the proposed development impact fees and will accept questions thereon. All interested persons are invited to be present and be heard. Written communications may be directed to: City of Cathedral City, Christina Burton, City Clerk, 68-700 Avenida Lalo Guerrero, Cathedral City, CA 92234.
