NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CITY COUNCIL CATHEDRAL CITY Wednesday, April 22, 2026 – 5:30 pm Cathedral City Council Chambers 68-700 Avenida Lalo Guerrero Cathedral City, CA 92234 In accordance with the procedures specified by State Law and the Rules of Procedure for Council Meetings and Related Functions and Activities, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Cathedral City to be held the date, time and location as noted above, to confer and discuss: USER FEES AND REGULATORY FEES The City Council will consider adopting a proposed resolution revising the user fees and regulatory fees for various City services. The proposed fee schedule updates are intended to improve the correlation between the cost of providing services and the fees imposed to recover those costs. To align with the cost of service, the User and Regulatory Fee Study and proposed Master Schedule of User and Regulatory Fees were implemented on July 1, 2025. Built into the schedule is an automatic Fee Adjustment using the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) Consumer Proce Index (CPI) for a twelve-month period. The latest proposed fee schedule for the BLS CPI update will be reviewed and, if approved, will be implemented July 1, 2026. Supporting documentation is currently available to the public and may be requested from the City Clerk. At the Public Meeting, City staff will present the proposed user and regulatory fee updates and will accept questions thereon. All interested persons are invited to be present and be heard. Written communications may be directed to: City of Cathedral City, Christina Burton, City Clerk, 68-700 Avenida Lalo Guerrero, Cathedral City, CA 92234.
