NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE LOCAL CONTROL AND ACCOUNTABILITY PLAN (LCAP) AND THE BUDGET OF DOWNEY UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT OF LOS ANGELES COUNTY The Governing Board of Downey Unified School District will hold public hearings on the LCAP and the BUDGET OF THE DISTRICT FOR THE YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 2027, PRIOR TO Final Adoption as required by Education Code 42103 and 52062. The public hearings will be held at Manuel Gallegos Administration Center, 11627 Brookshire Ave., Downey, CA 90241 on June 9, 2026 at 6:00 PM. The public is cordially invited to attend this meeting. Pursuant to Education Code 52062, members of the public may submit written comments regarding specific actions and expenditures proposed to be included in the LCAP. Comments may be submitted to: outreach@dusd.net.
