CITY OF FULLERTONNOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Fullerton City Council will hold a public hearing in the Council Chamber, Fullerton City Hall, 303 West Commonwealth Avenue, on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. to receive input on the Drafts for the 2025 Urban Water Management Plan and 2025 Water Shortage Contingency Plan. Once Drafts are available, they can be viewed on the City website at www.cityoffullerton.com/UWMP.
ALL INTERESTED PERSONS are invited to attend said hearing and express opinions or submit evidence for or against the proposal outlined above. Members of the public can access meetings streamed live online at www.cityoffullerton.com/agendas , on Spectrum Cable Channel 3 and AT&T U-Verse Channel 99. The public may also remotely participate in the meeting to make oral public comment via computer, smart device or telephone.
The public hearing is being held in accordance with the Urban Water Management Planning Act (California Water Code Sections 10610 through 10656; herein referred to as the “Act”). The Act requires “every urban water supplier providing water for municipal purposes to more than 3,000 customers or supplying more than 3,000 acre-feet of water annually” to prepare, adopt, and file a UWMP with the California Department of Water Resources and review and update its UWMP every five years. The purpose of the public hearing will be to solicit public comment prior to adoption of the proposed updated UWMP and WSCP.

Pursuant to California Government Code Section 65009, if you challenge the decision of the City Council in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the City of Fullerton at, or prior to, the public hearing.
