NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGPLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT the Board of Trustees of the Lakeside Union Elementary School District shall hold a public hearing on April 14, 2026 starting at 6:00 p.m. in the cafeteria at 9100 Jersey Avenue, Hanford, California, to consider the following:Adoption of a resolution increasing developer fees for residential, commercial and industrial development projects within the district’s boundaries pursuant to Education Code Section 17620 and Government Code section 65995. It is proposed that the district increase the fees to five dollars and thirty-eight cents ($5.38) per square foot for residential developments and seventy-seven cents $.0.87 per square foot for commercial/industrial developments and that the fees shall be collected at the time of issuance of building permits.The data and information regarding this issue will be available no later than April 3, 2026, at the district office located at 9100 Jersey Avenue Hanford, California, Telephone (559) 582-2868. Any interested party may obtain a copy of such data and information by contacting the district office and may make oral or written presentations at the hearing. Written presentations may also be submitted to the district at the above address at least two days prior to the hearing.Publish: April 1, 8, 2026
