NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING 2025 REGIONAL URBAN WATER MANAGEMENT PLAN AND WATER SHORTAGE CONTINGENCY PLAN BY the City of La Verne NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN the City Council of the City of La Verne will conduct a PUBLIC HEARING for the purposes of adopting the 2025 Regional Urban Water Management Plan and its Water Shortage Contingency Plan. Information regarding the PUBLIC HEARING is as follows : May 18, 2026, at 6:30 pm, at La Verne City Hall, Council Chambers located at 3660 D Street, La Verne, CA 91750. The 2025 Regional Urban Water Management Plan and Water Shortage Contingency Plan was prepared pursuant to the Urban Water Management Planning Act and the California Water Code. The California Department of Water Resources requires every urban water supplier to prepare and adopt an Urban Water Management Plan, including the Water Shortage Contingency Plan, and periodically update the Urban Water Management Plan at least once every five years, in years ending in six and one. City of La Verne welcomes and encourages all interested entities' participation at the public hearing. A copy of the City of La Verne's Public Draft 2025 Urban Water Management Plan and Water Shortage Contingency Plan will be available for review prior to the public hearing and adoption meeting. The documents may be reviewed at La Verne City Hall located at 3660 D Street, La Verne, 91750 and can be accessed online at www.laverneca.gov. Written comments may be submitted prior to or at the public hearing.
