NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
PROPOSED ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD AMENDING THE LAKEWOOD MUNICIPAL CODE PERTAINING TO THRIFT STORES AND VARIOUS RELATED STANDARDS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the City Council of the City of Lakewood concerning a proposed ordinance amending the Lakewood Municipal Code pertaining to Thrift Stores and various related standards. This amendment does not affect any specific property within the City of Lakewood and applies to the City generally. The proposed environmental determination is a Categorical Exemption per CEQA Guidelines Section 15061.(b).(3), as there is no possibility that this ordinance will create a significant impact on the environment.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the public hearing will be held on TUESDAY, March 24, 2026, at 7:30 P.M., in the City Council Chambers at the Civic Centre, 5000 Clark Avenue, Lakewood, California. All persons interested may appear at that time and testify in this matter. The proposed ordinance and related displays thereof may be inspected by the public prior to the hearing at the office of the Community Development Department of Lakewood City Hall, 5050 Clark Avenue, Lakewood, California.
