NOTICE OF PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE LAKEWOOD MUNICIPAL CODE AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD AMENDING THE LAKEWOOD MUNICIPAL CODE PERTAINING TO OBJECTIVE DESIGN STANDARDS FOR MIXEDUSE AND MULTIFAMILY DEVELOPMENT NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the Lakewood Planning and Environment Commission (PEC) concerning a proposed ordinance amending the Lakewood Municipal Code pertaining to Objective Design Standards for MixedUse and Multifamily Development projects. This amendment does not affect any specific property within the City of Lakewood and applies to the City generally. The proposed environmental determination is a Categorical Exemption per CEQA Guidelines Section 15061.(b).(3), as there is no possibility that this ordinance will create a significant impact on the environment. NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the public hearing will be held on THURSDAY, April 2, 2026, at 7:00 P.M., in the Lakewood City Council Chambers at the Centre, 5000 Clark Avenue, Lakewood, California. All persons interested may appear at that time and testify in this matter. The proposed ordinance and related displays thereof may be inspected by the public prior to the hearing at the office of the Community Development Department of Lakewood City Hall, 5050 Clark Avenue, Lakewood, California.
