NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
A public hearing will be held by the Council of the City of Modesto on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. in the Chambers, Basement Level, Tenth Street Place, 1010 10th Street, Modesto, California, to Consider an Ordinance increasing the compensation for Modesto's Mayor and Council Members pursuant to Modesto Charter Section 703 and in accordance with the recommendations of the Citizens Salary Setting Commission.
All interested persons are invited to attend the public hearing at the above time and place and will be given an opportunity to be heard, or by submitting your comment via e-mail to ccmeetings@modestogov.com.
Please take notice, if you challenge the proposed action in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the City Council at, or prior to, the public hearing.
