FINANCING DISTRICT
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Mount Shasta Public Financing Authority ("Public Financing Authority") will hold a Public Hearing on the Annual Report for the Mount Shasta Enhanced Infrastructure Financing District ("EIFD") pursuant to California Government Code Section 53398.72 et seq.
DATE AND TIME OF PUBLIC HEARING
The public hearing will be held on June 23, 2026, at 4:00pm or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard.
LOCATION OF PUBLIC HEARING
The conference room above the Mt Shasta Police Station, City of Mount Shasta City Hall, 303 North Mount Shasta Boulevard, Mount Shasta, California 96067.
PURPOSE OF HEARING
The Public Financing Authority will conduct a public hearing to consider and adopt the first Annual Report for the Mount Shasta EIFD for Fiscal Year 2026. The EIFD was formed pursuant to Resolution No. PFA 2025-01 with an effective date of January 29, 2025. The EIFD covers territory within the City of Mount Shasta, Siskiyou County (BOE File No. 2026-001).
The Annual Report will address the following as required by Government Code Section 53398.72(3):
(A) A description of projects undertaken in the fiscal year and comparison of actual versus expected progress;
(B) A chart comparing actual revenues and expenses, including administrative costs, to budgeted revenues and expenses;
(C) The amount of tax increment revenues received;
(D) An assessment of the status regarding completion of the EIFD’s projects; and
(E) The amount of revenues expended to assist private businesses.
AVAILABILITY OF DRAFT ANNUAL REPORT
Pursuant to Government Code Section 53398.72(2), a draft of the Annual Report has been prepared and is available for public review at least 30 days prior to this hearing. The draft Annual Report may be obtained at the following locations:

PUBLIC COMMENT
Any person may appear at the public hearing and present testimony regarding the Annual Report. Written comments may be submitted to the City Clerk, City of Mount Shasta, 305 North Mount Shasta Boulevard, Mount Shasta, CA 96067, or by email to ragron@mtshastaca.gov prior to the public hearing.
