NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING:BIENNIAL BUDGET ADOPTIONFISCAL YEARS 2026-27 (FY27) FOR $48,430,600AND FISCAL YEARS 2027-28 (FY28) FOR $55,840,600 FOR THENAPA VALLEY TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY (NVTA)NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that a public hearing will be held on Wednesday, April 15th, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at the JoAnn Busenbark Board Room at the Soscol Gateway Transit Center, 625 Burnell St., in Napa by the Napa Valley Transportation Authority (NVTA) during the NVTA Board of Director’s meeting to receive public testimony on the proposed NVTA biennial budget for Fiscal Year 2026-27 in the proposed amount of $48,430,600 and Fiscal Year 2027-28 in the proposed amount of $55,840,600. The annual amounts are subject to revision prior to the public hearing. NVTA is a Joint Powers Authority comprised of the Cities, Town and County of Napa. NVTA serves as the countywide transportation planning body for the unincorporated areas within Napa County and is responsible for programming State and Federal funds for transportation projects within the county. NVTA is further charged with coordinating short and long term planning and funding and serves as the transit provider for the communities of Napa County. The NVTA Board of Directors is required to adopt an annual budget by June 30th for the upcoming fiscal years. The biennial budget encompasses planned operations and capital projects for the Congestion Management Agency (General Fund), Vine Transit, American Canyon Transit, Yountville Bee, St. Helena Shuttle, Calistoga Shuttle, and VineGo paratransit.
