NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission will hold a public hearing in the Orinda Library Auditorium at 26 Orinda Way to consider a recommendation to the City Council regarding Ordinance 26-05. This proposed ordinance would amend Title 16 (Subdivisions) and Title 17 (Zoning) of the Orinda Municipal Code to establish State-authorized limitations on parcels created pursuant to the Starter Home Revitalization Act (California Government Code Section 66499.41). Specifically, the ordinance adds Chapter 16.18 to the City's Subdivision Code to make clear the City is not opting to exercise its authority to waive the sale and lease restrictions detailed within the Government Code and to prohibit subsequent Urban Lot Splits on these parcels. Additionally, it amends Section 17.3.4 of the City's Zoning Code to prohibit the construction of Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs) or Junior Accessory Dwelling Units (JADUs) on any parcel created pursuant to the Starter Home Revitalization Act.
