NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND OF
PROPOSAL FOR IMPLEMENTING SCHOOL
FACILITIES FEES AS AUTHORIZED BY
EDUCATION CODE SECTION 17620 AND
GOVERNMENT CODE 65995
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Governing Board of Pleasant Grove Joint Union School District will conduct a public hearing to consider input from the public and a resolution on the proposed adoption of school facilities fees on residential, commercial, and industrial development at its regular meeting on May 12, 2026, at 6:30 p.m., in the Pleasant Grove School Cafeteria, 3075 Howsley Road, Pleasant Grove, CA 95668. The proposed fees are level 1 fees against residential construction and reconstruction at up to $5.38 per square foot ($3.50 per square foot going to the District) and against new commercial or industrial construction at up to $0.87 a square foot. Education Code Section 17620 and Government Code Section 65995 authorize the proposed fees. The School Facility Fee Justification Report for the proposed school facilities fees is on file and available for public review at the District’s administrative office located at 3075 Howsley Road, Pleasant Grove, CA 95668. The fee, if approved by the Governing Board, will become effective on July 11, 2026, which is 60 days after the proposed adoption of the resolution levying such fee by the Governing Board.
