NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGNOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Directors of the Santa Margarita Water District (District) will hold a public hearing to provide an opportunity for public input on the proposed Santa Margarita Water District 2025 Urban Water Management Plan (UWMP) and the updated Water Shortage Contingency Plan (WSCP) as required by the California Water Code sections 10610-10656 and 10608 et seq. Public input from diverse social, cultural and economic elements of the population is encouraged and will be considered during the finalization of the UWMP and WSCP.The purpose of the public hearing is to provide water agencies, government agencies, and members of the public an opportunity to review and comment on the drafts of the UWMP and the WSCP prior to its adoption. The public hearing will be held on June 3, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. in the Board Room of the District located at 26111 Antonio Pkwy, Rancho Santa Margarita, California.
