CITY OF SALINAS PUBLIC HEARING Proposed Annual Action Plan for Fiscal Year 2026-2027 United States Department of Housing and Urban Development Entitlement CDBG, HOME, ESG Funds NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on May 2, 2026, the City of Salinas (City) will make available the draft fiscal year (FY) 2026-2027 Annual Action Plan (Action Plan). The Action Plan describes the programs, projects, and proposed activities to be implemented with FY 2026-2027 (July 1, 2026 - June 30, 2027) U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development's (HUD) entitlement Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME), and Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) funding. In FY 2026-2027, the City anticipates receiving up to $2,196,140 in HUD entitlement CDBG funds; $37,000 in CDBG Program Income (PI); $844,248.40 in HOME funds; $40,000 in HOME PI; and $191,548 in ESG funds. Funding is based on FY 2026-27 funding allocations and estimated program income funds.
