NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Monterey Regional Waste Management District, dba ReGen Monterey, Board of Directors will hold a public hearing on May 22, 2026 (or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard) at ReGen Monterey's Board Room located in their administrative offices, 14201 Del Monte Blvd., Salinas, CA 93908 (2 miles north of Marina, off HWY 1), to consider fee changes for the materials listed below, effective July 1, 2026. Material Current Fee Proposed Fee % Increase Solid Waste/Construction & Demolition Debris $81 $85 4.9% Residential Organics (Yard Trimmings & Food Scraps)/Clean Dimensional Lumber) $49 $54 10.2% Commercial Organics (Food Scraps) $69 $73 5.8% Single-Stream Recycling (MRF) $41 $43 4.9% *All rates are on a per ton basis.
