NOTICE OF PROPOSED RATE CHANGE BEFORE THE CALIFORNIA PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMISSION (CPUC)On or around May 4, 2026, Cal Water will file Advice Letter 2579 requesting authority to increase revenues to recover recently completed and previously authorized infrastructure improvements. In the advice letter, Cal Water requests additional revenue of $69,424, or 0.9% of currently authorized revenue. If approved, effective July 1, 2026, the water bill of a Selma District residential customer with 11 CCF (which is 1,100 cubic feet, or approximately 8,228 gallons) of monthly water usage would increase by approximately $0.48, or 1%.
