The City of Santa Ana intends to apply to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) for the SA-1 Hydropower and Water Conservation Project (Project) and invites you to participate in the consultation process. The Project is proposed at the existing J. Garthe Pump Station, located at 2401 N. Bristol Street, Santa Ana, CA 92706, adjacent to Santiago Creek, and is being implemented as a component of the City’s broader J. Garthe Water Treatment Facility Project, which is anticipated to begin construction in the second quarter of 2026 to support continued delivery of high-quality drinking water.
