NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND REVIEW ON DRAFT 2026-2027 ACTION PLAN NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Thousand Oaks (City) has prepared the Draft Annual Action Plan for Program Year 2026–2027 (Action Plan) in accordance with U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) requirements. The Action Plan identifies the programs and activities proposed to be carried out with Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds. The City anticipates receiving approximately $665,000 in CDBG funding for this program year which includes prior year funding. From April 11, 2026, to May 10, 2026, copies of these draft documents will be available to the public for review and comment at City Hall in the Community Development Department, online at https://toaks.gov/cdbg, and upon request. Written comments will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. on May 10, 2026, by Karen Ponce, Community Development Analyst, at KPonce@toaks.gov or mailed to City of Thousand Oaks, 2100 Thousand Oaks Boulevard, Thousand Oaks, CA 91362. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Public Hearing, as provided by law, will be held by the City Council of the City of Thousand Oaks, to consider and decide approval to submit the documents to HUD. This Public Hearing is scheduled to be heard by City Council on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., in the Andrew P. Fox City Council Chambers/Scherr Forum Theatre, City Hall, 2100 Thousand Oaks Boulevard, Thousand Oaks, CA 91362. The public is invited to attend the public hearing to be held by the City Council. For further information, see the City Council Agenda. Inquiries concerning this Public Hearing may be directed to: Community Development Department at (805) 449-2500.
