CITY OF VALLEJO NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING THE VALLEJO PLANNING COMMISSION WILL HOLD A PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING: Hearing Date, time & Location May 4th, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. Vallejo City Hall, 555 Santa Clara Street, Vallejo Project Name & Application(s) Lakayanm Goods: Alcohol Sales Major Use Permit and Public Convenience or Necessity (collectively, PLN25-0151) Project Location & APN(s) 480 Redwood Street, Suite 33 / APN: 0051-010-630 Applicant(s): Lianne Garcon Property Owner(s): Redwood Square Enterprises, LLC Project Description: The project consists of a request to add alcoholic beverage sales (beer and wine) for off-site consumption, for an existing 1,092-square-foot grocery store. A determination of a Public Convenience or Necessity is required due to an overconcentration of off-site consumption retail alcohol licenses within the census tract. No construction is proposed as part of the project. California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA): The project is categorically exempt from the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA, Public Resources Code �21000, et seq. and California Code of Regulations, Title 14, �15000, et seq.) pursuant to Section 15301(e) (Class 1 "Existing Facilities") of the CEQA Guidelines. The applicant or any party adversely affected by the decision of the Planning Commission may, within ten days of the date of the decision, appeal to the City Council by filing a written appeal with the City Clerk. Such appeal shall state the reason or reasons for the appeal and why the appellant believes they are adversely affected by the decision of the Planning Commission. Such appeal shall not be timely filed unless it is received with the required filing fee set forth in the Master Fee Schedule. In the event an appeal period ends on a weekend or any day that City Hall is closed, the appeal period shall end at the close of business on the next consecutive business day.
