NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER ADOPTION OF A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY TO APPLY FOR, AND PARTICIPATE IN, THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA’S PROHOUSING DESIGNATION PROGRAM (PL25-0035)
NOTICE IS HEREBY given that a public hearing will be held by the County of Ventura Board of Supervisors on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at 10:30 a.m., at 800 S. Victoria Avenue, Ventura, CA 93009, County Government Center, Hall of Administration, Board of Supervisors Hearing Room, to consider and decide the project described below.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: On April 28, 2026, the Board of Supervisors will consider adoption of a resolution authorizing the County of Ventura to apply for, and participate in, the State of California’s Prohousing Designation Program administered by the California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD). The Prohousing Designation Program recognizes jurisdictions that have adopted policies that promote housing production and affordability and provides designated jurisdictions with access to exclusive funding opportunities and priority consideration for certain State housing and infrastructure grant programs.
