Notice of Public Hearing on the 2026-2027 Proposed Budget For Tulare County Office of Education A public hearing on the 2026-2027 proposed budget will be held on May 6, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. before the Tulare County Board of Education in the Board Room (Redwood C/D) at 6200 S. Mooney Blvd., Visalia CA. At this public meeting, prior to the public hearing on the proposed budget, there will be a public hearing regarding the Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) and budget overview for parents. The public may inspect the proposed budget at the Tulare County Office of Education Business Office, 6200 S. Mooney Blvd., Visalia CA beginning May 1, 2026. Any member of the public may appear at the public hearing and object to the proposed budget or any item in the budget. The budget shall not be finally adopted by the Tulare County Board of Education until after the public hearing has been held. Not later than five days after adoption or by July 1, 2026, whichever occurs first, the governing board of the district shall file the budget with the State Superintendent of Public Instruction.
