NOTICE OF POLK CITY MUNICIPAL ELECTION Notice is hereby given that, in accordance with Section 100.021, Florida Statutes, Polk City in Polk County, Florida, will hold a Municipal Election on Tuesday, April 7, 2026. The following seats are up for a four-year term: District 1, and District 3. The following seats are up for a two-year term to fulfill an unexpired term of 2028: District 2, and the At Large Seat, which is District 5 Qualifying begins at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, February 16, 2026, and ends at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 19, 2026. Candidates must submit qualifying papers and pay qualifying fees and election assessment fees during this period at the Office of the City Clerk, located at 123 Broadway Blvd., SE in Polk City. Candidates shall be qualified electors of Polk City, and all candidates shall have continuously been residents of the City of Polk City for a period of six (6) months.
