NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING CITY OF PUNTA GORDA, FLORIDA The City of Punta Gorda invites residents to attend a public meeting regarding the proposed improvements to Punta Gorda Nature Park. Your input is valued! Residents are encouraged to attend, ask questions, and provide feedback on the proposed project. Purpose: To discuss the Citys application for a Recreational Trails Program (RTP) grant for a potential award of up to $450,000 to fund 1,100 feet of concrete trail construction and replacement of amenities to include a new fishing pier, two new observation decks and a pedestrian bridge. Ask for input: Is this a priority? Should this project continue as designed or be scaled back to only construct the concrete pathway?
