PLANNING &amp; ZONING BOARD
CITY OF RIVIERA BEACH, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA
The Planning and Zoning Board (Local Planning Agency) of the City of Riviera Beach, Palm Beach County, Florida will conduct a Public Hearing on Thursday, March 26th, 2026 at 6:30 PM, or soon thereafter, and from time to time thereafter as necessary, at the Riviera Beach Marina Event Center located at 190 E 13th Street, Riviera Beach, FL 33404, to consider the following Ordinance and make a recommendation to the City Council:
An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Riviera Beach, Florida, Approving a City Initiated Comprehensive Plan Text Amendment, Amending the Citys Long-Range Planning Horizon From Five (5) And Ten (10) Years To Ten (10) And Twenty (20) Years in Order to Ensure Consistency With the Florida Community Planning Act, Chapter 163, Part II, Florida Statutes; Providing for Transmittal to the State Reviewing Agency; Providing for Applicability, Conflicts, Severability and Codification; and Providing for an Effective Date.
Interested parties may appear at the meeting and be heard with respect to the proposed ordinance(s).
Copies of the proposed Ordinance and related background materials are available for inspection at the Development Services Department at 600 W Blue Heron Blvd between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, except holidays.
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE AND BE ADVISED, that if any interested person desires to appeal any decision made by the Council with respect to any matter considered at the meetings, such interested person, at their own expense, will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based (F.S. 286.0105).
