CITY OF SANIBEL, FLORIDA ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Legal Notice is hereby given that sealed proposals will be received at the Office of Natural Resources,City of Sanibel, Florida, at City Hall, 800 Dunlop Road, Sanibel, until May 7, 2026 at 2:30 pm andshortly thereafter will be publicly opened and read aloud. Any proposal offered later than the abovetime will be returned unopened. The work for which proposals are to be received consists of the following: SANIBEL SLOUGH DREDGING PROJECT This project is located within Sanibel Islands interior wetlands. The work consists of hydraulicdredging of the section of the Sanibel Slough extending from Elinor Way to Beach Road. Proposals shall be properly and completely executed on a standard proposal form. Each proposalshall be accompanied by an acceptable certified check or cashiers check made payable to the Cityof Sanibel, or an acceptable Bidders Bond, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the totalbid price. The Contractor to whom the work is awarded will be required to furnish an acceptable Surety Bondin an amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. No bidder may withdraw their proposal within a period of sixty (60) days following the date set forreceiving proposals. The City of Sanibel reserves the right to hold any and all bids for a period ofnot more than sixty (60) days and said bids shall be and remain valid and in full force and effect duringsaid period. The City of Sanibel reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waiveinformalities.
