NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ORDINANCE NO. 2026-18 Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of St. Cloud, Florida, at a meeting to be held on Apr 9, 2026, in their Chamber at City Hall, 1300 9th Street, St. Cloud, Florida at 6:30 p.m., will consider the enactment of Ordinance No. 2026-18 entitled: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ST. CLOUD, OSCEOLA COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER 24 ENVIRONMENT ARTICLE IX OPEN BURNING, SECTION 24-308 EMERGENCY PROHIBITION OF BURNING OR USE OF FIREWORKS AND RELATED ACTIONS TO DEFINE DANGEROUS ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICT, SEVERABILITY, ADMINISTRATIVE CORRECTION, CODIFICATION, PUBLICATION AND EFFECTIVE DATE. Interested parties may appear at the meeting at which time this ORDINANCE is to be considered and shall be heard with respect to the proposed ORDINANCE at the Public Hearing thereon. This ORDINANCE, in its entirety, can be reviewed at the City Clerk's office between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. and between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the Committee/Board, with respect to any matter considered at such hearing/meeting, such person will need a record of the proceedings and that, for this purpose, such person may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based, and which record is not provided by the City of St. Cloud.
