CITY OF TAMARAC CITY COMMISSION NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING A Public Hearing on the following Ordinance on second reading will be held during the Regular City Commission meeting on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at or after 7:00 p.m. and will be considered by the City Commission in the order as it appears on the agenda. The Regular Meeting of the City Commission will be held in the City Commission Chambers, located at City Hall, 7525 NW 88 Avenue, Tamarac, Florida 33321. Temporary Ordinance No. 2608 TO2608 - AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER 9, HEALTH, SANITATION AND NUISANCE, ARTICLE IV, RESIDENTIAL AND NONRESIDENTIAL PROPERTY MAINTENANCE STANDARDS, SECTION 9-131, NONRESIDENTIAL PROPERTY MAINTENANCE STANDARDS, SUBSECTION (j), OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC CODE OF ORDINANCES, TO ADD CLARIFYING LANGUAGE REGARDING PARKING LOT MAINTENANCE; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Copies of the proposed Ordinance may be requested by emailing CityClerk@tamarac.org. Interested parties may be heard at the meeting with respect to the proposed Ordinances in accordance with Florida Statutes 166.041. Pursuant to Section 286.0105, Florida Statutes, if a person decides to appeal any decision made by the City Commission with respect to any matter considered at such meeting or hearing, they will need a record of the proceedings and for such purpose may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based. The City of Tamarac complies with the provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act. If you are a disabled person requiring any accommodations or assistance, please notify the City of such need at least 48 hours (2 days) in advance.
