AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA; CREATING SECTION 2-6, LAKE COUNTY CODE, TO BE ENTITLED BILL OF RIGHTS SANCTUARY COUNTY; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR INCLUSION IN THE CODE; PROVIDING FOR FIL-ING WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF STATE; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

The Board of County Commissioners shall consider the adoption of the above Ordinance on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., or soon thereafter as possible, in the Chambers of the Board of County Commissioners, Second Floor, Ad-ministration Building, 315 West Main Street, Tavares, Florida. Mem-bers of the public are also invited to attend virtually through the following link:
