NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS ON CONDITIONAL USES, PLANNED DEVELOPMENTS, DISTRICT CHANGE, AND AMENDMENTS TO THE POLK COUNTY COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AND LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT ON WEDNESDAY May 6, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., or as soon thereafter as the particular case may be heard, in the Board Room, County Administration Building, 330 West Church Street, Bartow, Florida, the Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on the following cases: 1. Case File LDCU-2026-3 Timothy Campbell, Clark Campbell Law, applicant, and Virtual Finop LLC, owner, are requesting a High Intensive Recreational Use in the Phosphate Mining (PM) land use district on approximately 19 +/- acres of vacant land within the Rural Development Area (RDA). The subject site is located off of Agricola Mine Road, south of County Road 640 (Pebbledale Road), east of State Road 37, west of US Highway 17-98 and County Road 555 (Agricola Road), north of County Road 630 (Brewster Road) in Section 09, Township 31, Range 24. 2.
