NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BEFORE THE GILCHRIST COUNTY PLANNNING COMMISSION
Notice is hereby given that the Board of County Commissioners of Gilchrist County, Florida, serving as the Planning Commission, will consider at a public hearing the below described application in the Gilchrist County Board of County Commissioners Meeting Facility located at 210 South Main Street, Trenton, Florida on May 18, 2026, at 5:00 P.M. or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, the following:
VAR 2026-02 A request by Richard Leach and Dana Leach, property owner, for an application for a variance to reduce the left side setback from 10 feet to 3.5 feet and to reduce the front setback from 20 feet to 12 feet to facilitate replacement of an existing single-family residence with a new single-family residence on a 0.38 acre subject property located at 2060 SW 76th Court, Bell, FL 32619; Tax Parcel 17-09-14-0242-0000-0020; Land Use District Environmentally Sensitive Lands 2 (ESA-2).
At the public hearing, all interested parties may appear to be heard with respect to the application. Copies of the application are available for public inspection by request to the Gilchrist County Administrators Office, at 209 SE First Street, Trenton, FL 32693.
The public hearing may be continued to one or more future dates. Any interested party shall be advised that the date, time, and place of any continuation of the public hearing shall be announced during the public hearing and that no future notice concerning the matter will be published, unless said continuation exceeds six calendar weeks from the date of the above referenced public hearing.
All persons are advised that if they decide to appeal any decision made at the above referenced public hearing, they will need a record of the proceedings, and that, for such purpose, they may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
