PUBLIC NOTICE FOR MAJOR DEVELOPMENT REVIEW APPLICATION WITH VARIANCE REQUEST
Pursuant to Section 10.02.08 of the Washington County Land Development Code (LDC), notice is provided regarding a proposed Major Development Review Application with Variance Request on the property below. The applicant proposes to redevelop the existing Florida Department of Transportation District 3 campus by removing two existing structures and constructing a new three-story building on 1.70 acres of the 12.85 acre site. The Variance Request is to allow existing mature vegetation on the site to meet landscape buffer requirements.

The Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on June 1, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. CDT in the County Commission Board Room at 1331 South Boulevard, Chipley, FL 32428.
The Board of County Commissioners will hold a Public Hearing on June 18, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. CDT in the County Commission Board Room located at 1331 South Blvd. Chipley, FL 32428 (This meeting date is subject to change.)
