The City of Eagle Lake City Commission will hold a public hearing regarding the following Proposed Ordinance:
ORDINANCE NO.: O-26-06
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CITY OF EAGLE LAKE, FLORIDA ORDINANCE O-25-018, AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE O-26-04, TO PROVIDE FOR A MINOR MODIFICATION OF THE APPROVED PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT-HOUSING (PD- H) TO ADD EIGHT UNITS TO THE SAME CERTAIN PARCELS; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND, PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. (General Location: four parcels of land totaling approximately 20.17 acres in size, lying east of Eagle Pines Blvd and north of Golden Beak Dr with a street address of 1381 Gilbert St Eagle Lake, Florida 33839 and 0 Gilbert St Winter Haven, Fl 33880) Duy Nguyen Inc. The City Commission will hold a second reading of the proposed ordinance on June 1, 2026 at 7:00 pm or as soon thereafter as possible.
The hearings shall be held at the City Commission Chambers, 675 East Eagle Avenue, Eagle Lake, Florida, 33839. At the meeting, interested parties may appear and be heard with respect to the proposed ordinance. The hearing may be continued from time to time.
Copies of the proposed Ordinance are available for review at City Hall with the City Clerk at 75 North Seventh Street, Eagle Lake, Florida. City Hall is open between 9 am and 5 pm, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Comments may also be submitted in writing to the City Clerk prior to or during the meeting.
Persons are advised that if they decide to appeal any decision make at these meetings/hearings, they will need a record of these proceedings and for such purpose, they may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made at their own expense and effort, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based per Section 286.0105, Florida Statutes.
