NOTICE OF INTENT TO CONSIDER AN APPLICATION
FOR CONDITIONAL USE OF LAND
The Citrus County Planning and Development Commission (PDC) will conduct a Public
Hearing on the following application on June 4th, 2026, at 9:00 AM in the Lecanto
Government Building, 3600 W. Sovereign Path, Room 166, Lecanto, Florida.
Please
note that the PDC meeting begins at 9:00 AM. The actual time that a particular item
is discussed will vary depending on how fast the PDC moves through the agenda.
CU-2026-00001 Furman for AVI Properties, LLC
This request is for a Conditional Use approval to allow for light manufacturing in the
General Commercial District, pursuant to Section 2412,
General Commercial District
(GNC),
as specified in the LDC.
Section 36, Township 18 South, Range 19 East;
specifically, Lots 18, 19, and 20, Kellers
Subdivision, recorded in Plat Book 2, Page 36, and Lots 13, 14, and 15, Hernando City
Heights as recorded in Plat Book 3, Page 111, Block N, Alt Key 3517067, which address
is 1577 N. Florida Ave., Hernando, FL. A complete legal description is on file with the
Land Development Division.
If any person decides to appeal any decision made by the Commission with respect to
any matter considered at this hearing, he or she will need a record of the proceedings
and, for such purpose, he or she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the
proceedings is made, which record includes testimony and evidence upon which the
appeal is to be based. Copies of the proposed application will be available for inspection
and/or purchase between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday in
the Department of Growth Management, Land Development Division, 3600 West
Sovereign Path, Suite 140, Lecanto, FL 34461.
