PUBLIC NOTICE TOWN OF MANALAPAN The Town Commission of the Town of Manalapan will conduct a Public Hearing in the Town Hall located at 600 South Ocean Boulevard, Manalapan, Florida, 33462 on May 12, 2026 at 9:00 am, or as soon thereafter as possible and continuing from time to time and place to place as necessary to consider and take final action regarding the following ordinances: ORDINANCE NO. 405 AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN COMMISSION OF THE TOWN OF MANALAPAN, FLORIDA; AMENDING THE TOWN CODE OF ORDINANCES AT CHAPTER 155. BEACHES AND WATERWAYS. SECTION 155.03. FISHING FROM BRIDGES PROHIBITED. BY RE-NAMING THIS SECTION TO READ PROHIBITED FISHING ACTIVITIES; AND BY PROHIBITING CERTAIN HAZARDOUS FISHING PRACTICES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC WELFARE; PROVIDING THAT ALL OTHER SECTIONS AND SUBSECTIONS OF CHAPTER 155. BEACHES AND WATERWAYS. WILL REMAIN IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT AS PREVIOUSLY ADOPTED; PROVIDING A CONFLICTS CLAUSE, A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE AND AUTHORITY TO CODIFY; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. Related documents are available for inspection and copying in the office of the Town during normal business hours Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. All interested parties are invited to come and be heard at the public hearings. If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the Town Commission with respect to any matter considered at such meeting or hearing, that person will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose, that person may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
