NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR A SPECIAL EXCEPTION
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT in Glades County, Florida, a public hearing will be held as follows:
The Planning Commission will sit as the Board of Adjustments to make the final decision on a Special Exception. This hearing will occur on June 9, 2026, at 5:15 PM, or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard. The hearing will be held at the County Commissioners Chambers, Glades County Courthouse, 500 Avenue J, Moore Haven, and Florida 33471.
Case Number SX26-03: A Public Hearing to consider an application for a Special Exception use under the present zoning classification of AR, Agricultural Residential. The request is to gain approval for a telecommunication tower. The Parcel ID Number of the subject site is A15-42-28-A00-001C-0000. The subject site address is 3897 Loblolly Bay Road, Labelle, FL. The amount of acreage of the subject site is 9.62 acres The property owner is Glades County.
A copy of this notice is on file at the Glades County Clerk of Courts Office, 500 Avenue J, Moore Haven, Florida, 33471. Normal business hours are 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, except holidays. A copy of said petition and staff report will be available for review at the Glades County Community Development Department, 198 6th Street SW, Moore Haven, Florida, 33471, between the hours of 8 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, except holidays.
