Early Notice and Public Review of a Proposed Activity in a 100-Year Floodplain To: All interested Agencies, Groups, and Individuals This is to give notice that Collier County has determined that the following proposed action under Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) is located in the 100-year floodplain, and Collier County will be identifying and evaluating practicable alternatives to locating the action in the floodplain and the potential impacts on the floodplain from the proposed action, as required by Executive Order 11988, and/or Executive Order 11990, and in accordance with HUD regulations at 24 CFR 55.20 Subpart C Procedures for Making Determinations on Floodplain Management and Protection of Wetlands. The proposed project location is 131 1st ST NW, Naples FL, 34120, in Collier County. This project involves the demolition of a single-family home identified as having widespread structural failure and deemed unsafe and unsalvageable by the County. The address and parcel number below are located in a 100-year floodplain Zone AH (area of special flood hazard with base flood elevation or depth) per FEMA Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) Panel 12021C0430H, effective 5/16/2012. The approximate size of the structure to be demolished is 2,356 square feet, including the residence and attachments.
