SUMMARY: Schedule a public hearing on June 9, 2026, to review the 2026-2027 Student Progression Plan, which will reflect changes in legislation in order to comply with F.S. 1008.25 and to clarify language concerning student progression in Marion County.


SUMMARY OF STATEMENT OF ESTIMATED REGULATORY COST: 
Upon approval, the document will be posted on the Districts website and has minimal direct costs. Any person who wishes to provide information regarding the statement of estimated regulatory costs or to provide a proposal for a lower-cost regulatory alternative must do so in writing within 21 days of notice.


SPECIFIC AUTHORITY: 1008.25 Florida Statutes


LAW IMPLEMENTED: F.S. Title XLVIII K-20 Education Code; Chapter 1008 Assessment and Accountability; 1008.25 Public School Student Progression, Remedial Instruction, Reporting Requirements, and Marion County Board Policy 5410 Student Progression Plan.
