NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR A FUTURE LAND USE AMENDMENT Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held by the Planning & Zoning Commission in the City Commission Chambers, City Hall, Sanford, Florida, at 10 am on Thursday, May 7, 2026, to consider a Comprehensive Plan Amendment at 650 Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. It is anticipated that the Sanford City Commission will consider this matter at a public hearing on Monday, June 8, 2026, in the City Commission Chambers, City Hall, Sanford, Florida, at 7 PM. Interested parties may appear at the meeting and be heard regarding the transmittal of the proposed plan amendments to the City Commission. Request: Amend the Comprehensive Plan designation of 1.30 acres from Seminole County HIP-TI, High Intensity Target Industry, to City of Sanford WIC, Westside Industry and Commerce on property assigned tax parcel numbers: 27-19-30-300-002A-0000 generally addressed as 650 Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, which is legally described as: SEC 27 TWP 19S RGE 30E BEG 1339 FT W & 455.3 FT N OF E 1/4 COR RUN W 399 FT S 627 FT E 399 FT N 627 FT (LESS PT N OF FIFTH ST & RD) All parties in interest and citizens shall have an opportunity to be heard at said hearing.
