MEETING NOTICE
The Brevard County Transportation Impact Fee Advisory Committee for the North Mainland District will meet on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. The purpose of the meeting is to consider: 1) Grissom Blvd. and Canaveral Groves Intersection Improvements of $2.5 Million. An Intersection Safety Study was recently completed for Grissom Parkway & Canaveral Groves Boulevard. The study identified the need for dedicated turn lanes in both the eastbound and westbound directions on Canaveral Groves Boulevard, along with replacement of the existing span wire signal and strain poles with mast arms structures to accommodate the proposed improvements. 2) Tangerine St. Dirt Road Paving in Canaveral Groves $549K, approximately 2,151 LF from Tangerine St. to Cirtus Blvd. and 3) Vacaro Ave. Dirt Road Paving in Canaveral Groves $549K, approximately 2,200 LF from Tangerine St. to Kumquat St. The meeting will be held at the Brevard County Government Center, 2725 Judge Fran Jamieson Way, Building A, 2nd Floor, Public Works Conference Room, Viera, Florida. If a person decides to appeal any decision made by this committee with respect to any matter considered at this meeting or hearing, such a person will need a record of this proceeding and that, for such purposes, such person may need to ensure that a verbatim record of this proceeding is made, at his/her expense, which record includes testimony and evidence upon which any appeal is to be based.
