PUBLIC NOTICE Minor Wastewater Discharge 1759 Quacco Rd Intersection EPD Coastal District 400 Commerce Center Drive Brunswick, GA 31523 Date of Major Discharge: Tuesday, February 17, 2026 Report Submitted: Wednesday, February 18, 2026 Location of Minor Discharge: Intersection located at 1759 Quacco Rd., Pooler, GA 31322 (32.066392, -81.273637) Cause of Discharge: Broken sewer force main caused by fiber optic boring Estimated Discharge: <7,000 gallons Receiving Waters: Stormwater Inlet contiguous to the Savannah River Basin Corrective Action Taken: The lift station was turned off to stop the leak. The broken pipe was repaired and the affected soil was neutralized with lime. Spill Status: Corrective action completed. No further discharge occurring.
