A-436SUPREME COURT OF GEORGIA Case No. S26B1012 March 17, 2026 The Honorable Supreme Court met pursuant to adjournment. The following order was passed: IN THE MATTER OF JOSEPH PRYOR DURHAM, JR. Joseph Pryor Durham, Jr. (State Bar No. 235524) died on March 4, 2026, and has no partner, associate or other appropriate representative available to notify his clients of his death and protect their interests. As such, Durham is an Absent Attorney as defined in Bar Rule 4-228(a). On March 13, 2026, the Office of the General Counsel of the State Bar of Georgia petitioned for the appointment of a receiver pursuant to Bar Rule 4-228. Under that rule, the appointment of a receiver is appropriate, and it is therefore ordered that Beau Tillman Shrable (State Bar No. 453977), who is an active member of the State Bar of Georgia in good standing, be appointed as a receiver of Durham's client files and records, trust and escrow accounts, any other accounts containing clients funds, and that he notify Durham's clients about how to retrieve their files and funds. It is further ordered that Shrable be granted immunity from suit for any conduct undertaken in the course of his official duties, such immunity being the type of immunity ordinarily granted to a receiver under Bar Rule 4-228(j). SUPREME COURT OF THE STATE OF GEORGIA Clerk's Office, Atlanta I certify that the above is a true extract from the minutes of the Supreme Court of Georgia. Witness my signature and the seal of said court hereto affixed the day and year last above written. Thrice S Banne Clerk Shrable Law Firm - (229) 349-6291May 9, 16, 23, 30, 2026
